Our next quarter goals are always to improve CRP and CW recruitment, continue care and support and index self testing. Immediate goals include; signing government agreements, launching Nifas Silk Sub city, enrolling OVC to the program and SSW / OVC specialist recruitment.

Continue mentoring and coaching with immediate subordinates and supervisors on tracking the planned activity

USAID Growth through Nutrition Activity

Project Goal

To improve the nutritional status of pregnant or breast feeding women, children under the age of two years old, and adolescent girls through comprehensive, coordinated and evidence based interventions, including social and behavioral change communication (SBCC) programming. 

 

Project Objective

To enhance the nutrition, sanitation, and health seeking behaviors of pregnant women/mothers of children under the age of two years old; Husbands, or partners of pregnant women/fathers of children under two years of age; Grandmothers of children under two (including children still in womb), and saving groups in the Eleven Woredas in the coming three years. 

To improve the maternal and infant feeding knowledge and practice among pregnant women/mothers of children under the age of two; children under the age of two in the targeted Woredas. 

To promote agricultural behaviors of households who are engaged in the ECC sessions.
